ENGAGING COMMUNITIES
We can build strong meaningful connections through information sharing and collaboration. Our town thrives when people have opportunities to share ideas, needs, and feedback.
By engaging with vulnerable community members, we can meet the needs of more people and benefit all. A great example is the introduction of audible crosswalks throughout downtown Hanover, which helps those who are visually impaired, as well as those who may not notice the light change without a sound cue.
Active engagement and open communication with the community helps promising ideas flourish and fosters a sense of belonging. By building pathways to participation throughout our diverse community, we can foster innovative solutions to our most challenging problems.

The Town of Hanover and its diverse neighborhoods depend on active engagement and open communication.
